We offer an inclusive lingerie solution to women in colours and styles that are specially designed to flatter their skin tone and body shape. We have considered our customer’s comfort all the way through the design process, and truly believe that our product is beautiful to look at but also amazing to wear. We have also added a solutions range of backless/strapless bras and accessories in multi skin tones.

I believe that who people are is more important than what they have done. My past and present have certainly proved that no matter what you go through you can and will achieve anything if you commit to your dream. I moved to the UK from Sierra Leone at 16, trained as a cancer nurse initially but have held other roles in business over the years until I became the proud founder of beingU in 2008. Personal challenges have delayed bringing products to market but believe me, I am more passionate than ever.

My daughter is my main inspiration for the beingU brand and I am determined to ensure she grows up in a world that celebrates women of all shapes, shades and sizes.

Zenobia Morrow G.G., A.J.P., is an artist and private jeweler specializing in custom design, fine jewelry, and watch sales for the nation’s most discerning clients.

Originally from Atlanta, GA., Zenobia attended Howard University where she received her B.F.A. in Design before studying gemology at the Gemological Institute of America in New York. Zenobia is a member of the Women’s Jewelry Association and GIA Alumni Association

We are FICO Solutions Nigeria LTD, the creators of first ever Nigerian Fashion dolls: The Queens of Africa & Naija Princesses. The Queens of Africa program is dedicated, through the use of books, dolls, comics, music and animation series, to help empower children of African descent and their counterparts to be confident and matured ethically. The dolls and materials are designed, through fun and engaging materials, to subconsciously promote African heritage. Developed by entrepreneur and philanthropist Taofick Okoya, the program has reached tens of thousands of children across Africa contributing significantly to education programs, particularly in Nigeria. Queens of Africa celebrates being an African girl in the 21st century by drawing on the strengths and achievements of our ancestors and bring them up to date to empower and inspire today’s generation of African girls.

What do you do when you own 100 hats? You start your own hat business! That’s what Georgiette Morgan-Thomas did when she bought the S & S Hat Company in Philadelphia in 2015. The hat manufacturer is now called American Hats.

Georgiette, who is also a local pastor, has always loved hats and wears them all the time. She was the proud owner of 100 hats when the opportunity arose for her to not just wear hats, but make them. So, she invested more than $100K and bought the business. As the previous owner did, she continues to manufacture hats for both women and men, using only the finest materials.

Since she began, she has been able to increase her business by 40 percent. Last year alone, she sold over 3,000 hats, ranging from $90 to almost $400 each. That says a lot about this entrepreneur who took over the lone surviving millinery in Philadelphia. She is very much involved in the business and has a flair for fashion.

Our goal is to design work that is inspiring and uplifting.  Solutions that are empirical, educational and motivational.  Creative that is abstractly interesting and visually stunning.

We design with the belief that process and collaboration should be exciting and fun as the end result.

I’ve worn sunscreen diligently since my twenties. I care for my skin the same way that I care for my body; eating healthy and avoiding unhealthy foods and chemicals. I preferred a sunscreen that was all natural, BUT I had to tolerate the white film that it left behind on my face because the inconvenience was worth more than allowing chemicals to be absorbed into my skin. Then, one day as I looked in the mirror after the application of my sunscreen I became very frustrated. The white film on my face and in my hairline was just too much! Why wasn’t there a viable alternative for someone with my complexion out there? So, like most things in my life, I decided to do something about it.

UNSUN was made specifically for people of color representing the beige to dark chocolate tones of the spectrum. The desire to protect our skin from the sun should not mean having to wear foundation in order to cover the white and gray film that’s present after application.
